brand strategy — communications — events

Context

To introduce Dumais to a broader design audience, the studio launched 31 DAYS, an exhibition positioning founder Charlie Dumais as both designer and artist during New York Design Week.

Approach

Maia developed the exhibition concept and storytelling framework, positioning the show as an intimate alternative to traditional trade presentations. The exhibition explored the rituals of creativity through a series of vignettes that blurred the boundaries between studio, gallery and home.

Outcome

The exhibition was featured in The New York Times, Wallpaper, and Architectural Digest, significantly expanding the studio’s cultural reach.
